What's New In Microsoft Outlook 2013?

Microsoft Outlook is an email client application. This email client application is very much preferred by the IT technocrats and home users. There have been various versions of this personal information manager (PIM) Microsoft Outlook released in the market. To name a few of them, they are Outlook 97, 98, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2007, 2010 and the latest one Microsoft Outlook 2013.

The latest version of Outlook, Microsoft Outlook 2013 was released on January 29, 2013. It has been debited with plenty of new features that were not involved with the previous versions of Microsoft Outlook.


What’s New in Outlook 2013?


  • New Look: - Outlook has been given a new appearance in such a way that it makes it easy for the new users to focus the important part they would like to. Now users can view their emails, contacts, calendar items, etc. with a more clear appearance.



  • Preview Messages in the Message List: - This new feature in Outlook 2013 is very time saving. It helps the users to tackle their messages by previewing them in the message list itself. Users now need not to open each and every message and they can have a preview of them to decide which one is more important.

  • Inline Replies: - The inline reply feature of Microsoft Outlook 2013 provides the users with the facility of one click typing response in the Reading Pane. Users can also utilize Lync IM conversation for a real – time chat. 


Outlook Windows Utility Tool: -

MSG files are the files used by Outlook to store their messages. Often MSG files get corrupted and Outlook is unable to open them. In such cases, you can use MSG File Opener, a free Windows utility tool that easily opens these MSG files and renders all the data stored in them.





  • Commands in the Message Lists: - Various commands such as flag and delete have been introduced in the message lists. Users can now also mark their messages as read or unread.
